Absolutely. Upon project completion, all ownership of the design and related files is transferred to you. Your website will be hosted with your chosen provider or myself, and you’ll have full control over it.
Do you offer SEO services?
I implement fundamental SEO practices during the website build. This includes on-page optimization like titles, headings, meta descriptions.
I can also optimise your website for local SEO, so you show up when people nearby search for your services. That includes targeting local keywords, setting up your Google Business Profile, and creating location-specific content that gets results. This is a separate service billed monthly.
Can I update my website on my own?
Yes! I use offer easy-to-use interfaces built on the WordPress platform, allowing you to manage your site independently.
Are there any additional fees once the website is complete?
There are no ongoing fees from James Mitchell Design unless you request additional work or maintenance, which is charged at $90/hour. Regular costs could include web hosting or SEO.
How long does it take to build a custom website?
The timeframe varies based on the project’s scope and your responsiveness. Generally, you should allow 3 to 4 weeks for smaller website. Larger projects and ecommerce website can take 8 to 12 weeks.
Do you offer website packages and how much do they cost?
Yes. I offer a range of fixed-price packages starting from $1500, and eCommerce sites start from $2500. Local SEO starts at $300 per month. All packages are customisable depending on your needs.
